The world of wine is vast and exciting and we love bringing our old favourites and new discoveries to De Kloof. We want to ensure that every wine on the list offers something special.

We believe:

• Everyone should drink better and more interesting wines. And better is not always more expensive. Although we’ll stock a few special wines well worth the price tag too.
• A good wine list should not be a huge encyclopaedia. It is a perfectly formed selection of wines handpicked and tested by people who love wine.
• We want everyone to drink their wines out of good, clean glasses, at the correct temperature, wine in perfect condition and served by knowledgeable staff.
• You should be able to order tastings of a few wines before committing to a whole bottle.
• We will always have at least 12 different wines available by the glass, served in perfect condition using the latest wine preservation technology.
• Every wine we offer will be selected because we feel it complements one of our dishes.
• We love Cape wines passionately, but everyone should drink some French, Italian, Spanish and Argentinian wines from time to time, even if just to compare.
• We will constantly change our wines to bring you the best of the available vintages.
• If you’re looking for something very special, chances are we can get it for you.
